I would like to express my appreciation for all the advise, guidance and knowledge you shared with me in preparation for my application with the Australian Defence Force.

I saw your Alliance ad at the start of the year & then the next stage was my Defence Ready Course with you in March. The information was very extensive, & informative. Adam was able to walk me through the whole process, explaining the three different options for Army Air force or Navy. He has an Air Force background, but was very impartial, and explained all the various jobs, condition & benefits in common sense way. There was never any pressure to decide what trade was best.

I expressed an interest in the Navy in electronics, so then we went through in detail each job in that area & how I would go achieving this. I received fact sheets on each job to take home & make my decision.

The hardest part was to understand all the various stages of the ADF recruitment & the long wait between stages. Adam gave me a flow chart with the stages & the documents required & helped me with preparation. When I thought it was all taking a long time, he was able to confirm that my application was fine & there was just a back log. Before each stage & afterwards we touched base. That was great as it gives you confidence & helps you feel not so nervous.

I think the help Adam Nicholson gave me was invaluable & this helped me make the right decision with my career choice. I recommend anyone who is thinking of a career in the Australian Defence Force to speak to the staff at Alliance.
